P6 Sends- Celebrating our Veterans on Veterans Day

Panther Paratroopers, Families and Friends,
On Veterans Day, we pause to reflect on the sacrifice made by men and women to ensure the freedom of our great nation. CSM Teakell and I are grateful to all veterans who have served and continue to serve with honor; the Panther Brigade, our Army and our Nation are better thanks to your contributions.
We are blessed to live in a nation that celebrates its veterans. As you enjoy today, I ask you share conversation with fellow veterans of different services and conflicts to learn the story of their travels and service.
The Panther Brigade stands ready, competent and lethal thanks to the veterans within our ranks. Your experience keeps our edge sharp as we continue to remain prepared to jump, fight and win on any drop zone in the world.

P6 Sends – Native American Heritage Month

Panther Paratroopers, Families and friends

Native Americans have made profound impacts on the culture, character and success of the Panther Brigade. As we observe Native American Heritage Month, CSM Teakell and I thank all of our Paratroopers with Native American Heritage for their dedication and commitment to excellence.

The Panther Brigade stands strong thanks to the diversity within our ranks and I encourage leaders at all levels to express their appreciation for the contributions Native American Soldiers, veterans, civilians and Family members have made to accomplishing our mission.

Numerous events will occur on Fort Bragg in observance of Native American Heritage Month during the month of November. Consider attending and participating in these events to broaden your understanding and appreciation of Native American culture and its contributions to the strength of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division.

The Panther Family Celebrates with Trunk or Treat 2018!

Paratroopers and family members of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team enjoyed an evening of fun, fellowship, food and scares at the Panther Brigade Trunk or Treat held Monday, October 29th in the brigade’s area on Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Numerous civilian and military vehicles were set up and in costume to provide trunk-or-treat stations to children while members of the brigade organized and ran a costume contest.

Other events during Trunk or Treat included an obstacle course, a haunted aid station and event a potluck where families could bring a dish and dine on a variety of foods.

Furry friends also made an appearance last night, giving children a treat of different sorts as they had the opportunity to encounter a very patient llama and alpaca.
