Congrats to the Panther EIB Recipients

Congratulations to the 24 Panther paratroopers who earned their Expert Infantryman Badge in late August!

These paratroopers demonstrated their mastery at a myriad of skills, tasks, drills and physical endurance tests to earn the badge.

Of the 24, five of them were True-Blue, having passed each evaluation on the first attempt.

Panther Brigade Celebrates over 200 Years of Combined Active Duty Service

The Panther Brigade celebrated over 200 years of combined Active-Duty Service by hosting the 82nd Airborne Division Retirement Ceremony Wednesday, July 26th.

The nine All Americans recognized for their service will go on to the next chapters of their lives and we are grateful for their service to our nation.

In particular, we celebrated the retirement of Command Sgt. Maj. Lenard Summers, former Gator 9 of the 82nd Brigade Support Battalion! Here, he stands with his wife and son, Staff Sgt. Cardia Summers, a squad leader in the 173rd Airborne Brigade.

Summers retired after a total of 32 years of active duty service, 13 years of it with the 82nd Airborne Division.
